Friday's NBA Injury News

8 p.m. ET Update: Paul George has been ruled out of Friday's game with a sore foot. The Detroit Pistons will rest Derrick Rose on the front end of their back-to-back.

4 p.m. ET Update: Jaylen Brown has been ruled out of Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Celtics rookie Payton Pritchard will be active. Paul George has been added to the injury report with a sore right foot and is officially questionable to play Friday.

The Boston Celtics are monitoring Jaylen Brown's status ahead of their game Friday against the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center. The Celtics' depth has been tested all season as they've seen regular starters shuffle in and out of the lineup since the start of the season. They could potentially have rookie guard Payton Pritchard back from an MCL sprain as well with him listed as questionable for Friday.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have listed D'Angelo Russell as questionable with a quad injury, but has played in each of their past four games. Karl-Anthony Towns is still out as he makes his way through the league's health and safety protocols.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have listed Collin Sexton as questionable for Friday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Sexton has been on the injury report before, but this injury (neck strain) appears to be new one for the young bull. Larry Nance Jr. is also out as he deals with a wrist injury.
