NBA Injury News

6:50 p.m. ET Update: Joel Embiid will return to the lineup Thursday after missing one game due to an illness. Jimmy Butler will suit up Thursday despite dealing with a right eye contusion.

Jonas Valanciunas has been cleared to play Thursday after missing the previous game due to a sore back.

Derrick Rose has been ruled out Thursday with a sprained left ankle. Reggie Bullock, Alec Burks, and Immanuel Quickley are active.

Michael Porter Jr. has been ruled out Thursday for rest purposes. Nikola Jokic is a late addition to the injury report and is listed as probable Thursday due to a sore right toe.

Jimmy Butler missed the second half of the win on Tuesday after getting poked in the eye, and he is currently questionable ahead of Thursday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Tyler Herro started the third quarter with Butler unavailable, and coach Spoelstra kept his rotation to eight sans Butler.

Joel Embiid is currently listed questionable Thursday after sitting out on Tuesday due to an illness. Matisse Thybulle is also questionable with a hand injury, while Shake Milton and Furkan Korkmaz are probable.

The New York Knicks have listed Derrick Rose, Alec Burks, Immanuel Quickley, and Reggie Bullock as questionable Thursday ahead of their game against the San Antonio Spurs.

Quickley and Burks have each missed the past three games, causing Rose and Bullock to play abnormally high minutes in the backcourt rotation. Rose is dealing with a sprained left ankle, and he has averaged 30.7 minutes over the last nine games. Bullock also has an ankle injury, and has averaged 36.1 minutes over the last 14 games.

The Indiana Pacers will be without Malcolm Brogdon, Edmond Sumner,  and Jeremy Lamb Thursday. Brogdon is unavailable for the seventh straight game due to a sore right hamstring. His absence has led to Caris LeVert becoming the primary ball hander with Domantas Sabonis leading the team with 10.5 assists over the last six games.
