Monday NBA Injury News

4:45 p.m. ET Update: The Los Angeles Clippers have ruled out Kawhi Leonard and Patrick Beverley for Monday's game. Leonard missed their game Sunday due to a lower left leg contusion while Beverley is resting in the second leg of the Clippers' back-to-back.

1 p.m. ET Update: Russell Westbrook was not included on the injury report Monday on the second night of a back-to-back, and he is reportedly available to play after suiting up for 29 minutes in Sunday's afternoon victory.

The Los Angeles Clippers are monitoring Kawhi Leonard who is listed as questionable to play Monday against the Miami Heat after getting scratch just before Sunday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers with a leg contusion. head coach Tyronn Lue said before Sunday's game that he isn't sure when Leonard will be back, which puts his status up in the air on the second night of a back-to-back.

Joel Embiid is listed questionable for Monday's matchup with the Utah Jazz due to back tightness. Philadelphia 76ers head coach Rivers noted he prefers Dwight coming off the bench with the second unit, and Bradley may get another start Monday if Embiid can't play.

The Nets announced that Durant has been diagnosed with a mild strained left hamstring following an evaluation on Sunday, and he will miss at least the next two games. He just returned on Saturday after missing time due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

In non-injury news, the Cleveland Cavaliers won't play Andre Drummond for the foreseeable future as they seek a trade for him, according to reporting from ESPN's Adrain Wojnarowski.

Per our NBA Insiders tool:

Drummond was rested Sunday but also reportedly benched due to his recent attitude and play, per The Athletic. Drummond will remain with the team but would no longer be active for games until a trade is finalized. Expect Jarrett Allen to remain the starting center with JaVale McGee getting reserve minutes

Drummond is on the last year of his deal and will be an unrestricted free agent after the season.
