The Braves and Phillies both look to get back on track on Thursday night as they face off at Citizens Bank Park
Both Atlanta and Philadelphia have lost three of their past five games, and some narrow losses are littered throughout. The Phillies are coming off of back-to-back losses to the Yankees, which included a heartbreaking 10-inning loss on Wednesday night.
Though Philadelphia has seen some bumps in the road, they have been producing runs as of late. They have scored at least four runs in three straight games and have seen the ball decently well at home. The Phillies have also gone over the total in four of their last five games overall.
The Braves offense hasn’t produced in recent nights but they do have some impressive marks for the season.
Atlanta is fourth in the league in at-bats per home run, another measure that shows the serious pop that Atlanta has in their lineup, even without the injured Ronald Acuna Jr. The Braves have gone over the total in three of their past five games heading into Thursday night.
Phillies’ probable starter Matt Moore has given up a total of six earned runs across three appearances against the Braves this season, while Atlanta’s probable starter Charlie Morton has given up a total of four earned runs across three appearances vs. the Phillies this season.
Thursday’s matchup at Citizens Bank Park appears to have all the makings of a high-scoring affair and our latest PRO Report is seeing value on the total. Let’s take a look.
