Cade Cunningham seems like a lock to be the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft. It’s clear who the rest of the top-four prospects are, although the order is up for debate. But there are more ways than that to make money on July 29.
The betting menu isn’t as extensive as the NFL Draft, but sportsbooks are rolling out prop options now that the lottery order is set.
BetRivers and DraftKings released an assortment of over/under draft position props for a handful of notable players. You won’t yet find one available on Jalen Suggs or Evan Mobley, but Corey Kispert, Franz Wagner and Moses Moody are just some of the big names with totals posted.
Wagner, a sophomore out of Michigan, has the lowest number on the board at 9.5 with the under juiced to -127. He scored 12.5 points per game with 6.5 rebounds on the year while shooting 47.7% from the field and 34% from three.
Duke freshman Jalen Johnson might be more known for being the player to opt out during the Blue Devils’ disappointing season, but his plan to prepare for the NBA Draft instead looks like the right one. His total has been posted at 10.5 with the under also juiced to -127; the over is even money.
Moses Moody was one of the standouts on the Arkansas Razorbacks squad that made a run to the Elite 8 under Eric Musselman. The freshman guard scored 16.8 points per game and has a line of 11.5, although playing the over comes at a -143 price.
One of the stars of Gonzaga’s runner-up season joining Suggs was Corey Kispert. The senior was an elite three-point shooter, making 44% of his shots beyond the arc en route to scoring 18.6 points per game. Because he’s a senior, he may not come with the “upside” of others in the draft, but he’s still on the border of a lottery pick with a prop posted at 13.5.
