NBA Injury News

9:30 am ET Update: The Dallas Mavericks once again have a lengthy injury report heading into Thursday's game against the Detroit Pistons. Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis, Josh Richardson, Dorian Finney-Smith, and JJ Redick are all listed questionable.

Doncic has been dealing with a left elbow contusion the past week, but has not missed a game over that span. Porzingis missed the past three games due to a sprained ankle, and Maxi Kleber, who was removed from the injury report, has started alongside Dwight Powell in the interim.

Domantas Sabonis has been ruled out for the sixth straight game due to a sore lower back. He was a partial participant in practice Wednesday, but still won't be available Thursday against the Brooklyn Nets.

Jeremy Lamb and Goga Bitadze are both listed as questionable — both players have been out of the lineup since mid-April — leaving the Pacers thin up front once again. JaKarr Sampson has started most of the games Sabonis and will likely get the call if Bitdze can't play.

Kent Bazemore will return to the starting lineup for the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, according to head coach Steve Kerr. Bazemore has been sidelined for the last week due to the league's health and safety protocols.

His return will force Mychal Mulder back to a reserve role, and it's unclear if Bazemore will have a minutes limit. Kelly Oubre is also on the injury list and is doubtful with a sore left wrist, an injury that forced him to miss five games earlier this month

1:30 pm ET Update:  Kyrie Irving will sit in the first leg of the back-to-back on Thursday due to a sore right groin. Alize Johnson (health protocols) has been upgraded to available. Kevin Durant will benefit from increased usage while Mike James and Tyler Johnson will likely see extended playing time in the backcourt.
