  • The Rams are 8-point favorites over the Bears for Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season.
  • Looking for the best prop bet for this Sunday Night Football matchup? Look no further than David Montgomery.

Sean Koerner, our Director of Predictive Analytics, is highlighting his favorite player prop on PrizePicks for every slate throughout the 2021 NFL season — and he’s identified one valuable under for Rams vs. Bears on Sunday Night Football.

Operating under the daily fantasy umbrella (meaning that they’re available in more states than betting!), PrizePicks offers a unique opportunity for action on player props. Instead of betting on individual props, you parlay two or more together, aka Koerner’s pick can be used as the cornerstone for yours.

He had a 372-278-4 (57%) all-time record on NFL bets he’s tracked in the Action app heading into Sunday’s Week 1 action.

NFL Prop For Bears vs. Rams

David Montgomery Under 53.5 Rush Yards

Monty broke out at the end of 2020 thanks to a Charmin-soft schedule and the lack of a true backup RB behind him. He’ll be in for a rude awakening against a Rams defense that should dominate the Bears’ shaky offensive line.

Not only will Monty have a tough time finding running lanes, but the Bears may find themselves in a pass-heavy game script tonight as 8.5-point underdogs (check real-time NFL odds here).

The Bears also improved their running back depth with free-agent addition Damien Williams and sixth-round rookie Khalil Herbert, who could eat into Monty’s carries on Sunday night.

I’m projecting Montgomery for closer to 46.5 rushing yards against the Rams and would take this under down to 49.5 yards.
