Played in Greensboro, N.C., the Wyndham Championship has become affectionately known as the Webb Simpson Championship in golf betting circles, so it's no surprise he's on top of the oddsboard this week.

The North Carolina native won the tournament in 2011 and was runner-up in both 2018 and 2019. Throw in a T-15 finish at last week's St. Jude's Open in a WGC field, and that's enough for oddsmakers to throw Simpson on top at +1000 over Hideki Matsuyama and Louis Oosthuizen.

Patrick Reed (+2000) continues his active schedule, although the success hasn't been there in recent weeks. Reed does have a win here back in 2013 in a playoff over Jordan Spieth.

He tops Brian Harman and Jason Kokrak, each at +2200. Will Zalatoris (+2800) is the only other golfer below +3000 as he searches for his first win on the PGA TOUR.

Russell Henley and Sungjae Im each come in at +3000. Kevin Na, who finished 23rd at last week's tournament, is +3500.

The board gets busy after reaching the +4000s.

Si Woo Kim, who won this tournament in 2016, is joined by Adam Scott and Robert MacIntyre at +4000. Tommy Fleetwood, Charl Schwartzel, Matthew Wolff, Gary Woodland and Seamus Power follow them at +4500.

Notable longer shots on the board include two-time Wyndham Championship winner Brandt Snedeker (+5500), as is Rickie Fowler. Bubba Watson (+6500) comes in ahead of 2019 winner J.T. Poston (+8000). Defending champion Jim Herman is +15000.
