The Outlook
A promising year that began with two finishes of seventh or better in his first three starts has quickly dissolved into an amalgam of mediocrity, as Schniederjans hasn’t posted a top-30 result since Super Bowl Sunday. He made the cut as the world’s No. 1-ranked amateur in his only two previous major championship appearances, including a T-12 at the 2015 Open Championship, but it’s tough to believe that will portend more success this week considering his current form.
