2025 Scottish Open Picks, Predictions, Odds, PGA Tour Betting Preview

The 2025 Scottish Open tees off this Thursday morning from The Renaissance Club in Scotland, as many of the world's top players will compete in a tune-up for next weekend's Open Championship.

Scottie Scheffler is the favorite to win the Genesis Scottish Open at +360 odds at DraftKings. He's followed by Rory McIlroy at +800 and Xander Schauffele at +1800.

Each of the top five players in the world rankings will compete this week and 10 of the top 13. Also in the field is Robert MacIntyre, the local star who won here a year ago.

Since hitting a Keegan Bradley outright a few weeks ago we've been painstakingly close to another, losing in playoffs in each of the last two weeks with Max Greyserman and Emiliano Grillo.

Xander Schauffele

Xander Schauffele has not been playing as much as we’d like to see him this season as he was returning from an offseason injury, but he has shown some solid form as of late with a T12 finish at the U.S. Open and four other T18 finishes or better in his last eight starts.

Schauffele has also shown he can play well at Links courses, and I think the fit for him at this course with his elite ball striking and solid putter.

Sam Burns

Outright (+2000 · 0.25u) · Top 20 (+190 · 1u)

Sam Burns has rattled off a top 20 finish in seven of his last eight starts and he now arrives at a course that should be a great fit for him, as he can really utilize his unique combination of strong distance and elite putting.

Burns is also inside the top 25 in this field in Birdie or Better% on Links courses over the last three years.

Max Greyserman

Outright (+9000 · 0.15u) · Top 20 (+300 · 0.85u)

Max Greyserman is going to win at some point and I’ll be damned if I am going to miss out on it.

We had Greyserman two weeks ago when he lost in a playoff at the Rocket Classic, and this is another great course fit for him as he should be able to take full advantage of his distance off-the-tee.

Chris Gotterup

Outright (+9000 · 0.15u) · Top 20 (+300 · 0.85u)

Chris Gotterup is one of the best off-the-tee players in this field this week, as he ranks ninth in SG: Off-The-Tee over the last six months and third in driving distance among players in this field.

Gotterup is also rounding into some strong form, as he has seven top-25 finishes in his last 11 starts.
