The Chargers opened as 4.5-point road favorites over the Ravens for Saturday night and 63% of bets have come on LA. However, 52% of actual dollars wagered on the spread are behind Baltimore, explaining why the line has dropped to -4.
The under has also attracted a majority of bets and dollars, 57% and 77%, respectively, forcing oddsmakers to drop the total from an opener of 45 to 42 across the betting market.

8:14 p.m. ET: Here we go again. Back to 43.
8:10 p.m. ET: This total just won’t settle. It’s ticked back down to 42.5 once again.
7:58 p.m. ET: The back and forth action that’s taken place on the over/under today continues, as it’s now back up to 43.
7:24 p.m. ET: Once again, the 3.5-point spread didn't last very long. It's now back to LA -4.
6:50 p.m. ET: For the second time today, the Chargers are back to -3.5.
3:22 p.m. ET: The total is once again moving downward, as its now inched back to 42.5.
3:02 p.m. ET: Books weren't able to hold a 3.5-point spread for very long, as LA has now moved back to -4.
2:21 p.m. ET: Finally, some movement on the spread. The Chargers are now down to -3.5 despite attracting a majority of bets.
2:20 p.m. ET: Apparently, 43.5 was a tad too high, as the total is back to 43 after just ten minutes.
2:10 p.m. ET: After a quiet few hours, movement has resumed on this total, which is now up to 43.5.
10:54 a.m. ET: For the first time in the past few days, the movement on the total has changed directions in a significant way, jumping up a full point to 42.5.
9:29 a.m. ET: Continuing its week long trend, the total has ticked downward to 41.5.
8:15 a.m. ET: The line begins the day with the Chargers favored by four points and a total of 42.
