Welcome to Championship Sunday!

Big bets are flowing into sportsbooks all over the country. Let's dig in and analyze which teams oddsmakers will be cheering for in both matchups.

Biggest Bets

We'll put the latest big bets on the top of this list in the run-up to both games kicking off.

Sunday Night Updates

The Super Bowl matchup is set — Chiefs vs. 49ers. And while it's music to oddsmakers' ears from a futures betting perspective (the liabilities they had on the Packers and Titans dwarfed that of K.C. and S.F.), the AFC and NFC Championship games went about as poorly as they could've for sportsbooks.

"Favorite and over. Favorite and over. Dream for the public," John Murray from the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook told The Action Network. "A very, very bad day."

Here's a rundown of all the huge bets that cashed today across America, in order of the amount won:

  • $300,000 to win $200,000 on a 7-point teaser of Chiefs (-0.5) and 49ers (-0.5) at the Mirage
  • $235,000 to win $200,000 on Titans +4.5 first half at the Bellagio
  • $210,000 to win $200,000 on Titans-Chiefs Over 25.5 first half at the Bellagio
  • $127,500 to win $115,909 on 49ers -8 at the Bellagio
  • $120,000 to win $100,000 on 49ers -7 at the Beau Rivage Casino
  • $145,000 to win $130,000 on Chiefs -7 at BetMGM
  • $105,000 to win $95,454 on 49ers -8 at the Mirage
  • $13,000 to win $78,000 on three-leg parlay of Packers/49ers over (46.5), Chiefs (-7) and Titans/Chiefs over (52).
  • $66,000 to win $60,000 on Over 51.5 in Titans-Chiefs at William Hill
  • $55,000 to win $50,000 on 49ers -7 at the SuperBook
  • $100,000 to win $30,303 on Chiefs moneyline at BetMGM

Sunday Evening Updates

6:40 p.m. ET: Six minutes before kickoff in Santa Clara for the Packers-49ers NFC title game, William Hill took a $150,000 moneyline wager on San Fran. The bet would net $39,473.70 if the 49ers prevail as favorites.

And two bettors in Vegas hammered the 49ers with six-figure wagers on the spread at BetMGM:

  • $127,500 to win $115,909 on 49ers -8 at the Bellagio
  • $105,000 to win $95,454 on 49ers -8 at the Mirage

These come in addition to some huge wagers on the Packers-49ers we reported earlier on Sunday:

$300,000 to win $200,000 on 7-point teaser: The bet, placed at the Mirage in Las Vegas, needs the Chiefs (-0.5) and 49ers (-0.5) both to win to bring home $200,000. The Chiefs won, covering the first leg of this teaser.

$120,000 to win $100,000 on 49ers spread: The BetMGM Sportsbook inside of the Beau Rivage Casino in Mississippi took this bet within hours of opening the line.

$13,000 to win $78,000 on three-leg parlay: The South Point in Vegas took this wager, which needs all three of these things to hit in order to cash — Packers/49ers over (46.5), Chiefs (-7) and Titans/Chiefs over (52).

$55,000 to win $50,000 on 49ers: When it pays to jump on a bet early … This bettor took San Fran -7 almost immediately after lines were posted last Sunday.

Sunday Afternoon Updates

4:34 p.m. ET: Right before the Titans-Chiefs game started, we got wind of a few massive bets that hit the first half odds at BetMGM, most notably $235,000 on Titans +4.5 and $210,000 on Over 25.5. BetMGM's Jeff Stoneback told The Action Network that these wagers were placed by the same bettor at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

And at the moment, with the halftime score 21-17, that bettor is extremely happy, surviving a late scoring run by the Chiefs to cash both the Titans +4.5 ticket (by a half point) and the Over 25.5 bet (quite easily) for $200,000 each.

Not bad for an hour-and-a-half of work.

3 p.m. ET: We've seen some huge wagers hit the first half for Sunday's Chiefs-Titans game at BetMGM.

  • $235,000 on Titans first half (+4.5)
  • $210,000 on Over 25.5 first half
  • $30,000 on Chiefs first half (-4.5)

2:45 p.m. ET: We're less than 20 minutes away from kickoff of the first game — Titans at Chiefs — and we just got word of some massive bets at BetMGM. The biggest of the bunch:

  • $150,000 on Chiefs -1/Packers +14.5 (6.5-point teaser)
  • $145,000 on Chiefs -7
  • $100,000 on Chiefs moneyline (-330)

As you can see, K.C. is an extremely popular home favorite today against Tennessee, particularly in the teaser and moneyline markets.

2:30 p.m. ET: One bettor at William Hill threw down a big wager on Packers-49ers: $66,000 to win $60,000 on Under 47 in Packers-49ers. Other notable wagers from William Hill:

  • $66,000 to win $60,000 on Over 51.5 in Titans-Chiefs
  • $45,000 to win $12,857.15 on 49ers moneyline
  • $33,000 to win $30,000 on Titans +7.5

Sunday Morning Updates

$1,000,000 to win $3,000,000 on Titans moneyline: Mattress Mack flew to Mississippi today to place two separate $500,000 moneyline bets on the Titans at +300. Read more on Mack's $1 million in bets here.

$300,000 to win $200,000 on 7-point teaser: The bet, placed at the Mirage in Las Vegas, needs the Chiefs (-0.5) and 49ers (-0.5) both to win to bring home $200,000.

$120,000 to win $100,000 on 49ers spread: The BetMGM Sportsbook inside of the Beau Rivage Casino in Mississippi took this bet within hours of opening the line.

$110,000 to win $100,000 on Titans spread: This bettor at CG Technology in Vegas was a little late to the Titans party, betting +7 instead of +7.5.

$13,000 to win $78,000 on three-leg parlay: The South Point in Vegas took this wager, which needs all three of these things to hit in order to cash — Packers/49ers over (46.5), Chiefs (-7) and Titans/Chiefs over (52).

$1,500 to win $74,500 on Titans to win AFC: A 26-year-old Massachusetts man purchased this ticket on PropSwap after Tennessee's late-season loss to the Saints. Read more on the bettor.

$55,000 to win $50,000 on 49ers: When it pays to jump on a bet early … This bettor took San Fran -7 almost immediately after lines were posted last Sunday.

$44,000 to win $40,000 on Titans: This was the first big bet the South Point took this week, according to bookmaker Jimmy Vacarro. It came in on Wednesday and nabbed Titans +7.5.

$22,000 to win $20,000 on Chiefs: CG Technology in Vegas took this wager on K.C. -7 on Sunday morning.

$59,000 to win $18,400 on Chiefs moneyline: If the Chiefs win but Titans cover, CG Technology would have to pay out this ticket and the $100,000 Tennessee +7 bet above.

Money Splits

Titans vs. Chiefs Spread

The public is unsurprisingly all over the Chiefs, who closed out their game last week against the Houston Texans on a 51-7 scoring run. Books have seen some action from respected players on the Titans, which is why the spread has moved from Titans +7.5 down to the key number of +7.

Packers vs. 49ers Spread

The Packers are the biggest need of the day for the SuperBook, according to Jeff Sherman. The book hasn't gotten much big-money action on Green Bay and the public is all over the favored 49ers in parlays, teasers and spread/moneyline bets.

Titans-Chiefs Over/Under (51.5)

There's windy weather in Kansas City today, which has historically led to more Unders cashing. That's the side oddsmakers will be hoping comes through.

Packers vs. 49ers Over/Under (46.5)

The market has reacted to this lopsided action on the Over, moving the line from 45 to 46.5.

Biggest Super Bowl Liabilities

These are all courtesy of William Hill.

  • $4,500 to win $337,500: Titans 75-1, placed on March 4, 2019
  • $3,000 to win $300,000: Titans 100-1. placed on Dec. 1, 2019
  • $16,050 to win $240,750: Packers 15-1, placed on July 30, 2019
