It seems like basketball pundits and NBA fans alike have spent the entirety of Giannis Antetokounmpo's career talking about where else he might end up.

This may seem ridiculous as he's spent each of his 13 seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, but the rumor mill is understandably going full speed following an abysmal season that saw the Bucks miss the playoffs by a landslide.

At this point, Milwaukee is at a serious crossroads, and it would be an ideal time to deal a star player — especially one like Antetokounmpo, who is 31 years old with just one year remaining on his contract. Do you think Giannis will actually move on? Here's what Polymarket traders are thinking.

Most Traded Giannis Antetokounmpo Next Team Outcomes

At this point, nearly half of Polymarket users are in on an outcome involving Antetokounmpo and the Bucks. On the other hand, it's important to note that the odds are bound to fluctuate. This is still a relatively thin market (~$2,000 in trade volume), and it won't resolve until October 31st, 2026.

As such, volume is spread quite evenly for the time being, with 15 other teams trading between 3-11%. As seen in the live odds table above, teams like the Orlando Magic, Washington Wizards, and Phoenix Suns are also fairly popular. Which team actually has both the desire and the right assets to acquire Antetokounmpo?

If Giannis were to remain in the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics could be a great fit. The franchise is in a state of bedlam after a horrifying first-round upset, and things went from bad to worse after Jaylen Brown livestreamed his displeasure on Twitch.

While it's hard to move on from an MVP-caliber player like Brown, this would be one way the Celtics could stomach it. A package surrounding him would certainly be enough to fetch Giannis from a value standpoint, not to mention it'd be a good time to sell high on Brown, who benefited from insane usage thanks to Jayson Tatum's 62-game injury absence.

The Miami Heat are another interesting East destination. There have been rumors linking them to Antetokounmpo for years, and team president Pat Riley will certainly be looking to add a piece like Giannis after the Heat's horrible play-in performance against the Charlotte Hornets.

From lineup composition to available assets, Miami undoubtedly has the desire and the means to get this done if Antetokounmpo is willing. Bam Adebayo was likely overworked as the team's primary option, and adding Giannis instantly creates a frontcourt to be reckoned with.

Spacing could be an issue, but that's a problem the Heat would be happy to figure out if it means having two DPOY-caliber players in the starting lineup. In terms of assets, some combination of Tyler Herro, a young roster player (like Jaime Jaquez Jr. or Kel’el Ware), and a package of picks could likely get it done.

Another sneaky team to watch is the Portland Trail Blazers. The team's primary source of leverage is owning several Milwaukee draft picks, which they acquired in the Damian Lillard trade. The main point of contention is Antetokounmpo himself, who may be reluctant to sign there long-term.

At the moment, there's fantastic value to be had from buying "Yes" contracts for any of the teams mentioned above. The Celtics cost ~53 cents, the Heat can be had for ~20 cents, and the Trail Blazers go for ~13 cents.
