The Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors will meet in Game 5 in the opening round of the NBA postseason this Wednesday.

In a game as meaningful as this one, we aren't just looking for standard lines — we’re looking for the "ceiling" performances. That’s where the ladder pick comes in. If you think a player might go way over their line, you bet their standard over, then "ladder" up into alternate territories (25+, 30+, 35+) for a higher payout.

Today, I'm targeting Cavs' star Donovan Mitchell. Let's get into my Cavaliers vs. Raptors props for Game 5 on Wednesday, April 29.

Cavaliers vs Raptors Props for Game 5

  • Donovan Mitchell Over 26.5 Points (-114)
  • Donovan Mitchell 30+ Points (+185)

Donovan Mitchell Over 26.5 Points / 30+ Points

It’s time to put some respect on Donovan Mitchell.

In 15 home playoff games since joining the Cavaliers, he has scored 28 or more in 13 and has scored 30 or more in 12.

He had 30 or more in both Games 1 and 2 of this series.

In games within a series where the Cavs are coming back home after being on the road, Mitchell has scored 28 in 5-of-5 contests, including the following:

  • 35 vs. Indiana in Game 5 of last year’s East semis.
  • 33 vs. Boston in game 3 of the 2024 East semis.
  • 39 vs. Orlando in game 7 of the 2024 quarterfinals.
  • 28 vs. Orlando in Game 5 of the 2024 quarterfinals.
  • 28 vs. New York in Game 5 of the 2023 quarterfinals.

Over 26.5 points, good with 27.5, and will sprinkle on 30+ as well.

If you want 35, he’s done it four times in 15 tries at home in the playoffs.
