Knicks vs Bulls NBA Preview

Not only are the Bulls 4-0, but they're one of four teams undefeated against the spread. New York is 2-2 to start the year both in wins/losses and ATS.

The Knicks fans are freaking out because of their 2-2 start, particularly after their loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday where they had an awful second half. I've been hearing from them all week.

Luckily for them, the Knicks may have a full slate today.

Mitchell Robinson has been upgraded to questionable and has been at practice, after mysteriously missing the first four games of the season despite playing in three preseason games.

Originally listed as "load management" on opening night, somehow, we got around to labeling this an "ankle" injury.

Another thing to monitor going forward.

Deuce McBride missed two games due to personal reasons and is also back. He's not even on the injury report.

Both Karl-Anthony Towns (quad) and Guerschon Yabusele (knee) are listed as probable.

It's the same old story for the Bulls who remain without Coby White (calf) as he nears a return. They'll also be without Zach Collins (wrist).

Knicks vs Bulls Prediction, Betting Analysis

Jordan Clarkson under 9.5 is my only play on this game as of this writing.

I've toyed around with a lot of different numbers, but one thing is clear — Clarkson does not have the same role in this Knicks offense as many thought coming into the season, particularly Sixth Man of the Year bettors.

Maybe he'll still deliver overall; there's plenty of time for that, but I wouldn't feel amazing about it tonight, barring an unexpected turn of events.

The Bulls are fourth in defense, allowing the fewest three-point shot makes, attempts and the worst percentage, where Clarkson has taken nearly half of his 30 attempts (13).

Clarkson is also playing limited minutes without a full roster.

In the first game of the season, Clarkson wasn't even a top eight Knick in the rotation, entering the game well after Tyler Kolek.

Clarkson is not the Knicks backup point guard: Kolek is. They do not see Clarkson as a floor general, which matters.

It means he's playing more off ball and not doing Clarkson things.

Moreover reached double figures for the first time this season last game shooting 4-for-7.

Now Robinson might be back, McBride is definitely back, as is Yabusele — all three missed last game.

McBride, in particular, is important.

With a full slate, Clarkson will likely see limited minutes. His season-high is 17, and with McBride active, he was at 13 and 16 earlier.

Pick: Jordan Clarkson Under 9.5 Points (-130)
