Tuesday’s NBA Injury News

8 p.m. ET Update: The Boston Celtics have cleared Jaylen Brown to play Tuesday against the Utah Jazz after he missed the past two games with a sore left knee.


7:45 p.m. ET Update: Draymond Green’s status has been upgraded to active Tuesday after popping up on the injury report with a sore right knee.


The key injury news for Tuesday’s seven-game slate is centered around Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown. He has been upgraded to questionable in advance of Tuesday’s game agains the Utah Jazz and has missed the prior two contests due to a sore left knee. Mike Conley is also out Tuesday, his second straight missed game due to a tight right hamstring.

Kyrie Irving is expected to be available to play Tuesday and is officially listed probable after sitting out Saturday with a finger injury. Brooklyn Nets head coach Steve Nash Coach  said Irving is improving and that the pain related to his sprained finger is “manageable.”

The Detroit Pistons could potentially be thin in the backcourt with point guard Delon Wright listed as questionable for Tuesday’s matchup agains the Nets. The Pistons traded Derrick Rose to the Knicks and got back Dennis Smith Jr., but the former lottery pick is questionable due to health protocols. Blake Griffin, who rested on Sunday in the second leg of a back-to-back, is expected to play Tuesday.
