76ers vs Hornets NBA Preview

The 76ers start off this four-game in six-night week on a back-to-back, which means we'll undoubtedly see absences. As of Sunday night, the exact ones have yet to be determined.

Philly is coming off a tough loss to the Knicks at home on Saturday night, and now it has dropped five out of its last eight.

The Hornets have actually won five-of-eight heading into today's game, and have put together a two-game winning streak for the first time since the opening week of 2026.

Charlotte will also have a four-game in six-night stretch, but its back-to-back is mid-week.

The Hornets are looming for a Play-In spot, just 3.5 games behind the Hawks.

With the start time moved up in Charlotte due to pending inclement weather, we'll have early injury updates on Monday, so monitor that.

As of late Sunday night, the 76ers declared Joel Embiid (knee) and Paul George (knee) out.

The Hornets have Collin Sexton (hamstring) listed as probable, with Mason Plumlee (groin) and KJ Simpson (hip) listed out.

76ers vs Hornets Prediction, Betting Analysis

Brandon Miller has scored 20 or more points in six straight games.

After early struggles playing through an injured shoulder, Miller has captured the form some projected coming into the season with his recent stretch of play.

Miller has averaged 22.3 points on 46/38/86 through his last 14 games, which goes back to December 29.

Miller is averaging 17 shot attempts per contest during this stretch, with 8.3 coming from 3.

He is also averaging four attempts from the line per contest during that run.

Pick: Brandon Miller Over 19.5 Points (-125)
