Warriors vs Timberwolves NBA Preview

The Warriors and Timberwolves were supposed to play on Saturday, but as we all know, that game was postponed due to an external confrontation that occurred just a short walk from the Target Center a few hours before the scheduled tipoff, as protests continued throughout the city.

The game was rescheduled for Sunday, where the Warriors then won by a score of 111-85, and the two meet again tonight — barring another tragedy taking place within a few blocks from the arena.

Following yesterday's loss, The Athletic's Jon Krawczynski wrote on Twitter: "The Timberwolves are playing poorly. Plenty of reason to be concerned. This one today? I'm sorry, I just can't get too worked up. Outside this arena is so much tension and anger and heartache. Maybe I'm a simp, but I think that it affects them just like it does others."

Well put.

On the injury report, Jimmy Butler (ACL), Jonathan Kuminga (knee) and Seth Curry (sciatica) are out for the Warriors.

Al Horford, who isn't playing back-to-backs, did suit up Sunday, so don't expect him Monday. De'Anthony Melton (knee) also played on Sunday and has yet to play a back-to-back this season.

Terrence Shannon Jr. (foot) is out for the Wolves.
