Knicks vs Celtics NBA Preview

The KnicksCeltics rivalry was expected to be one-sided this season, but lately, both teams have been quietly handling their business.

Boston has won six of eight, including a win over the surging Magic at home, followed by a win over the Pistons at home, and then later beat the Cavaliers on the second leg of a back-to-back.

The Knicks have won four straight, most notably, a win over the Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo in the NBA Cup last week, followed by a dominant Madison Square Garden win over the overperforming (although admittedly short-handed) Raptors.

Is Boston good? Well … kinda?

Are the Knicks good? Yeah, but …

That's the Eastern Conference this season.

New York is 2-6 against the spread this season on the road, tied for the worst tally in the NBA. That's probably worth a mention heading into tonight.

Neemias Queta (ankle) and Derrick White (calf) are probable to play for Boston.

For the Knicks, OG Anunoby (hamstring) and Landry Shamet (shoulder) are out for a prolonged period.

Knicks vs Celtics Prediction, Betting Analysis

Josh Hart is back

The running back who plays power forward in a shooting guard's body has been starting as the Knicks have, for now, put the double big starting lineup to rest.

Hart has had 12, 8, 15, and 12 rebounds in his four starts, with 10 or more in two of four games off the bench before that.

After seeing his minutes cut in his bench role to start the year, he's up to 34.3 minutes per game in his past eight and 36.8 as a starter.

Boston has given up the fifth-most boards per 100 possessions this season, and Hart has pulled down double-digit rebounds in three straight regular-season games against Boston, including 14 in October.

Pick: Josh Hart Over 8.5 Rebounds (-125)
