Thunder vs 76ers NBA Preview

Let's talk about injuries, because we have some big ones worth monitoring ahead of this game, which shouldn't surprise many of you who may already know Oklahoma City has been dealing with several all season — and Philly is… well… still Philly.

Jalen Williams is off the injury report for the Thunder. Healthy at last.

He started this season with a significant wrist injury stemming from last postseason that extended into this season despite offseason surgery, and then he suffered multiple hamstring setbacks, limiting him to just 26 appearances so far this season.

The Thunder's second-best player has just been off to the side for most of the season, and now, they can ramp him up for a shot at a second title.

Tonight is actually the healthiest they have been all year — Thomas Sorber (ACL) is the only listed injury as of Monday morning. Ajay Mitchell (suspension) will also be out for this game.

For the 76ers, the injury situation is far less positive.

Joel Embiid (oblique), who hasn't played this month, will sit again.

Tyrese Maxey (finger), Kelly Oubre (elbow) and Paul George (suspension) are also out, while Dominick Barlow (ankle) is doubtful.

Thunder vs 76ers Predictions, Betting Analysis

I have been waiting all day for Jared McCain props to go live — and they are finally available now.

This is such an obvious revenge spot that it's embarrassing the books didn't list McCain props sooner, and there have been multiple instances of them not doing so until the final moments before tipoff.

McCain has scored 15 or more points in three of his last four games, netting 26 two games ago — and without Mitchell tonight, even with Williams back, it's a great spot for him.

Also, the 76ers traded him at the deadline and are missing their best three players — three of their best four if you think VJ Edgecombe is already better than George (I do) — and we're not accounting for McCain being showcased against the team that "sold high" on him less than two months ago.

Last game, McCain's line opened at 9.5 and closed at 13.5. In the previous game, he was listed at 8.5.

I like him to score at least 10 points today, and would probably go over 10.5 or even 11.5 if listed higher than his recent lines.

I considered shooting higher on an alternate line, but we still need to account for Williams' return, even if on limited minutes. So, I'll stick to the baseline number at 10+ points.

Pick: Jared McCain 10+ Points (-130)
