Will he or won't he? Victor Wembanyama (concussion) is questionable to play Game 3. As our resident boxing guy, that concussion legitimately looked like a knockout in a way that he shouldn't be medically cleared to play this soon. I'd be stunned if he played in Game 3, and with huge minutes at that.

His two-seed San Antonio Spurs travel to Portland to face the 7-seed Trail Blazers tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET.

In a game as meaningful as this one, we aren't just looking for standard lines — we’re looking for the "ceiling" performances. That’s where the ladder pick comes in. If you think a player might go way over their line, you bet their standard over, then "ladder" up into alternate territories (25+, 30+, 35+) for a higher payout.

Today, I'm targeting Donovan Clingan.

Trail Blazers vs Spurs Props, Alternate Line Bets

  • Donovan Clingan Over 19.5 Points & Rebounds (-105)
  • Donovan Clingan Double-Double (+217)

Donovan Clingan Points & Rebounds Ladder

In games without Wemby, Clingan had 20, 36 and 22 pointsrebounds in that order against San Antonio this season.

Last game, he would've hooked you at 9 and 10, but he did see some success after losing Wemby and managed to get that number while shooting 4-for-12 (and 0-for-6 from three).

Am I gambling on the injury report? Yes. Yes, I am. Do I think Clingan can do this with Wemby out there, fresh off a concussion, in potentially limited minutes? Sure. Also, Game 4 would be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

Would it be Spurs-like to play Wemby fresh off a concussion while 1-1 in Portland with a Game 4 tipoff scheduled way less than 48 hours later? Probably not.

Fonseca's Prop Ladder for Tonight

  • Donovan Clingan Over 19.5 Points & Rebounds (-105)
  • Donovan Clingan Double-Double (+217)
