A Rich History of the MGM Grand

Opened in 1993, MGM Grand has solidified its status as a Las Vegas icon over the decades.

Originally conceived as a family-friendly mega-resort, it was once the largest hotel complex in the world. Its world-famous lion mascot and vibrant entertainment offerings have contributed to its reputation as a landmark destination. The recent renovations pay homage to its storied past while paving the way for future guest experiences.

These extensive updates ensure that MGM Grand remains not only a cornerstone of Las Vegas culture but also a continual pioneer in the hospitality industry, setting new standards for modern luxury.
