Isaac TeSlaa has two touchdowns this season — even though he doesn’t get a lot of looks, he’s a huge target in the end zone for Jared Goff.
Part of the reason why I want to bet on him is that there’s no Kalif Raymond for the Lions again tonight.
Because of Raymond’s absence, TeSlaa has seen his snaps and his route participation increase in each of the last three games when Raymond has missed time.
With such a high total and most of the top guys having their touchdown odds steamed, I want to bet long shots for this MNF game.
Pick: Isaac TeSlaa (+650)
Baker Mayfield Anytime Touchdown (+650)
Baker Mayfield hasn’t seen the end zone yet this season, but I think this could finally be the week the Buccaneers' star QB scores on the ground.
Mayfield’s scramble rate this season has been highly encouraging, ranking sixth amongst all quarterbacks in total scrambles.
Not only that, he’s tended to see his scramble rate go up when seeing pressure.
With the Lions playing man coverage and single high safety at a top-seven rate, I’ll bank on Mayfield to call his own number and get his first touchdown of the season.
By the way, he scored against the Lions last year.
