Mexico vs. England Odds

As of 2 p.m. ET Sunday, six hours before kickoff, BetMGM has the three-way moneyline at England +145/Mexico +200/Draw +210. That represents a decent shift toward Mexico after the match opened at England +110/Mexico +260/Draw +220.

And the betting splits correlate to the move, with action solidly tilted toward the hosts tonight in England vs. Mexico odds. El Tri is nabbing 74% of tickets/85% of money in the 90 minutes plus injury time market. England is at 19% of tickets/12% of money, and Draw is netting 7% of tickets/3% of money.

In the To Advance market, it’s England -135/Mexico +105 at BetMGM. Of the four teams in action today — England vs. Mexico and Brazil vs. Norway — Mexico is taking four times more To Advance tickets than any of the other three teams.

Mexico is also drawing the most To Advance money among those four teams.

“So far, the majority of money is on Mexico and Over 2.5 goals,” BetMGM trading manager Adair Horne said. “It’s still six hours from kickoff, but Mexico would be a bad result for us. And they’re also our second-biggest liability in the [championship] futures book.

“So an English win would be nice here.”

BetMGM’s total is at 2.5 (Under -175), slightly off the 2.5 (Under -185) opener. As Horne alluded, it’s heavy Over action so far, at 74% of tickets/82% of money.

Added fellow BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini: “We’re hoping to avoid a Harry Kane/Erling Haaland goal parlay again today.”

Kane is England’s top scoring threat, while Haaland leads Norway against Brazil in a 4 p.m. ET match.
