Betting Highlights
Favorite Bet of All-Time
At the 2020 BMW Championship I loaded up on Jon Rahm at 12-1. After a horrible start, Rahm was flirting with dead last in round 2 of the tournament. At that point I re-bet Rahm at 66-1 heavily. The rest is history, as Rahm grinded back to force a playoff with Dustin Johnson. He then drained a 66 foot putt for birdie that won me my biggest bet in my gambling career.
Most Heartbreaking Bet
At the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic, I had outright bets on Joaquin Niemann (28-1) and Troy Merritt (80-1). Both players gained a bit of separation from the pack and there was a strong chance one of them would win. At which point, Cam Davis chipped in from the bunker to force a 3 man playoff. With 2 of 3 players in a playoff, my chances still seemed strong but Davis prevailed for his first TOUR win.
