Spurs vs. Cavaliers Odds & Betting Predictions - January 7, 2024

The Cavaliers have a Sunday matinee against the San Antonio Spurs today. One matchup that I am interested in is Jarrett Allen against Victor Wembanyama. Victor still seems to be on a minutes limit where he is not playing more than 26 minutes per game and without Zach Collins (ankle), this leaves them severely undersized. Jarrett Allen is an excellent rebounder but can also facilitate out of the post. Over the last 10 games Allen is averaging 4.2 Assists on 7.0 potentials and he is securing 12.9 rebounds on 19.8 chances. This matchup is solid from a personnel perspective and since the Spurs play at the third-fastest Pace in the league, this should give Allen even more opportunities to crash the glass and dish out some assists. I like him to exceed his combo prop of 15.5 Rebounds + Assists.
