The Philadelphia 76ers will look to sweep their first-round series with the Brooklyn Nets Saturday afternoon at the Barclay’s Center. But they will have to do it without MVP candidate Joel Embiid. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Embiid will miss at least Game 4 of this series after an MRI revealed a right knee sprain.

Philadelphia 76ers

The 76ers are off to a strong start in this year’s playoffs. They have won all three games of this series and covered the spread in all three games against the Nets. The Nets' highest point total in the three games played was the 101 points they scored in Game 1. Ultimately, the Sixers will not be judged on how they perform against Brooklyn, but there are reasons to be optimistic going into the next series.

Game 4 of the series will present a unique challenge for the Sixers as they will have to win the closeout game without their biggest star, who averaged 33 and 10 during the regular season is averaging 20 and 10 so far in the playoffs.
