How Sharps Are Betting Celtics-Sixers Game 3

The Celtics opened as a 10-point underdog, but are now down to +8.5 around much of the market. While that's generally an indication that wiseguys are on the dog, in this case it's not quite as clear. With 61% of bettors taking the points, the line move isn't necessarily a result of sharp money.

Instead, sharps have drifted to the total to find their play on today's game.

Both games in this series so far have hit the over, and perhaps as a result, books opened Game 3's total a few points higher at 208. It didn't stay there long, however, as sharps have been hammering the under since yesterday.

In addition to the Bet Signals, this total features a great bet vs. dollar discrepancy. Only 23% of bettors have taken the under, but they account for 59% of the money wagered on the total, meaning bigger — and likely sharper — wagers are coming on the under, which has brought the total down to 206.5.
