Cavaliers vs Bulls NBA Preview

If you're looking for two NBA teams who badly need to get right, the Cavaliers and Bulls are near the top of the list.

Remember when the Bulls were 5-0???

Yeah, they're 10-15 now. In fact, they lost seven straight before taking a get-right opportunity in Charlotte, controversially outlasting the Hornets 129-126, though Kon Knueppel was seemingly fouled on a three-pointer in the final seconds, but the refs didn’t let the call stand.

Still, Chicago was back to its winning ways… until losing to the lowly Pelicans two nights later, at home.

Chicago has just one win in its last nine games and now hosts the Cavs, who should be feeling desperate.

Cleveland hasn’t looked like a contender. The Cavs are 15-12, constantly banged up, and Donovan Mitchell has been forced into playoff-like, superhuman performances just to keep them competitive.

They’ve won only three of their last nine and are coming off an overtime loss at home to the Hornets on Sunday.

The Hornets outscored Cleveland 8-0 in that overtime, by the way.

Here’s the injury report for tonight:

Bulls: Ayo Dosunmu (thumb) is questionable.

Cavs: Evan Mobley (calf strain), Max Strus (foot), Sam Merrill (hand) and Larry Nance Jr. (calf strain) are all out.

Cavaliers vs Bulls Prediction, Betting Analysis

As long as y’all keep giving me these Jaylon Tyson lines, I’m going over.

Once again: 19.5 points + rebounds. He’s gone over this number in six of his last seven games and in eight of his last 11 since moving into an expanded role.

A lot of that production came without Jarrett Allen, who is now back in the lineup, but he’s averaging just 25.9 minutes per game, his lowest mark since the 2017-18 season, his rookie year. And, of course, Evan Mobley remains out.

Tyson’s only miss in the last seven was an exact 19.

Hopefully they don’t take away a rebound from us again, the books have been doing that more often this season, and it’s getting really annoying.

Pick: Jaylon Tyson Over 19.5 Points + Rebounds (-115)
