The NBA Playoffs are already delivering exciting games, and the Sunday slate will end tonight with the Portland Trail Blazers (7) visiting the San Antonio Spurs (2).

In a game as meaningful as this one, we aren't just looking for standard lines — we’re looking for the "ceiling" performances. That’s where the ladder pick comes in. If you think a player might go way over their line, you bet their standard over, then "ladder" up into alternate territories (25+, 30+, 35+) for a higher payout.

Today, I'm targeting Blazers center, Donovan Clingan.

NBA Player Prop Ladders: Alternate Line Picks for Blazers vs Spurs

  • Donovan Clingan Over 23.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-103)
  • Donovan Clingan Double-Double (+142)

Donovan Clingan Prop Ladder

This version of Donovan Clingan hasn’t played Victor Wembanyama yet this season.

Still, the Trail Blazers center has shown immense growth to be on some Most Improved Player shortlists, and has the strength to be a problem for Wemby’s length in spurts – if he can stay on the floor, avoiding foul trouble.

Clingan averaged 12.1 points and 11.6 rebounds this season, quietly showing flashes as an effective passing big, logging 2.6 assists per contest.

He was at 13.6 points, 12.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game in his last 26 games, which mostly comprise contests after the All-Star Game.

We’ve seen Clingan go far Over 23.5 PRA in two Wemby-less contests against the Spurs since the turn of the calendar, going for 24-12-4 on January 3 and 11-11-5 just last week.

I like him here, too. He can and will be physical with Wemby and should be effective around the basket through contact, especially with opportunities on the offensive glass.

I think this number is a touch below where it should be, and would project him a touch higher if he’s able to log 30+ minutes.

The double-double is at plus-money, so that will be our escalator, even though I like his rebounds slightly more than the points, largely due to the Wemby factor.

Fonseca's Donovan Clingan Ladder for Tonight
