Game 7 Finals Steals Record (6+ Steals Recorded) +2100

Pacers vs. Thunder, 8:00 p.m. ET

Here are the players who have recorded five steals in these NBA Finals.

  • TJ McConnell in Game 3.
  • Alex Caruso in game 4.
  • Pascal Siakam in Game 4.

So this isn't an OKC-only bet, although they've had multiple players record four or more steals in the Finals, like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Lu Dort.

We have several players capable of getting these and guys on each side. And oftentimes, steals just happen. Kevin Love had six steals in the 2017 NBA Finals, though that wasn't a Game 7.

Artest had five steals in 2010, and he obviously has a reputation as one of the best defensive players of the last 25 years.

Look at the players who had four each in Game 7s: Magic Johnson, Tom Henderson, Isiah Thomas, Tim Duncan, and Paul Silas. So, no, this doesn't necessarily need to be Caruso, Dort, or Cason Wallace.

Is it likely? Hell no. But the turnovers in this series have been, for lack of a more sophisticated word, weird. And at +2100, I think it's worth a tenth of a unit or so.

Game 7 Finals Blocks Record (5+ Blocks Recorded) +950

Pacers vs. Thunder, 8:00 p.m. ET

This is mostly a bet on Myles Turner or Chet Holmgren, you would think.

Turner had five blocks in Game 3. Holmgren had three in Game 5. But Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who actually has a team-high nine blocks this series, had four in Game 5.

So it's likely to be any of these three, if anyone, but it's slightly more achievable than the steals if we account for how muddy, tense, and low-scoring Game 7s tend to be.

I think steals have more variance, especially regarding who gets them and how they're credited.

But a five-block bet featuring two guys in Turner and Holmgren, both of whom have done it in these playoffs — Turner twice, including in this series — and even a wild card like SGA who has had four and three in this series, I don't mind — at all — a +950 ticket on history.

Game 7 Finals Three-Pointers Made Record (7+ Made Threes) +2600

Pacers vs. Thunder, 8:00 p.m. ET

Do we expect a ton of points? Eh. But even so, it doesn't mean we won't get someone going off from deep.

In 2016, when the Cavs beat the Warriors 93-89 in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, it featured six threes from Draymond Green. And when Shane Battier hit six threes in 2013, the Heat had beaten the Spurs just 95-88.

We have so many three-point wild cards in this series. Here are the players who had at least five made threes just in this series.

Obi Toppin, Lu Dort and Aaron Wiggins have each made five threes once in this series.

In these playoffs, Aaron Nesmith memorably had eight in Game 1 against the Knicks, Jalen Williams drained six in a Game 4 win in Minnesota — both in the conference finals round.

Tyrese Haliburton also had six when closing out the Cavs in the semifinals.

We have too many capable and streaky shooters not to take a very little nibble at this.

We have Haliburton, Nesmith, Wiggins, Dort, Caruso, and Toppin. And we even have guys who are cold this series who might finally run hot, like Myles Turner, Andrew Nembhard, and Williams.

The volume is the concern because most guys won't even shoot seven threes in Game 7, but if anyone is hot, we should expect to continue extending their run for as long as possible.
