  • Sharp bettors are affecting lines in two of tonight's NBA matchups: Cavs-Wizards (7 p.m. ET) and Heat Kings (10 p.m. ET).
  • Sports Insights' Bet Signals help reveal which way the smart money is going in both games.

With a somewhat lacking college slate tonight, plenty of bettors are shifting their attention over to the professional game, including sharps. Friday's eight-game NBA slate features a couple matchups in particular that have caught the eyes of wiseguys.

Starting at 7 and 10 p.m. ET, respectively, Cavs-Wizards and Heat-Kings have both seen their lines adjust as a result of sharp action.

Sharp angle: Cavaliers (moved from +10.5 to +9.5)

Oftentimes, sharp bettors find value as a direct response to the public's overvaluation of the opposing team. In other words, they bet against the public.

That's not looking like the case here, though.

Fifty-four percent of bets on this matchup are landing on the Cavs, but as evidenced by the line movement, along with Sports Insights' Bet Signals, they look to be of the sharper variety.

Generally, betting percentages so close to 50-50 wouldn't lead to a significant line move. If anything, perhaps just the juice would shift a little, so that full-point fall serves as the first indication of sharp action landing on the underdog.

Confirming that indication have been three SI Bet Signals on the Cavs, triggered whenever the market sees a sudden, drastic line move across the board — a reaction to sharp money.

Sharp angle: Under (moved from 218.5 to 217)

Despite its late tip time, this has been the game attracting the most overall action today. And with a few additional hours to rack up more bets, it should have no problem closing as the most heavily bet game of the night.

But while most bettors are probably being drawn to either side of the matchup, sharps have been more concerned with the total. In fact, they've caused a 1.5-point line fall despite a majority of bets on the over.

Sixty percent of bets have hit the over, which makes the drop in total a dead giveaway of sharp action.

Once again, Sports Insights' Bet Signals have confirmed that sharps are behind the line move, revealing smart money hitting the under at the opening number of 218.5 and once more at 218.
