  • Sharp action is hitting Wednesday's NBA slate, as pros are making four bets across three games.
  • Warriors vs. Mavericks and Magic vs. Raptors are among the games they're hitting.

Sandwiched between four- and two-game slates on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively, tonight's NBA schedule offers bettors a nice array of games from which to choose.

Eleven games will tip off tonight, and sharps have made significant moves on three of them: Warriors vs. Mavs, Hornets vs. Nets and Magic vs. Raptors.

The first game on tonight's sharp card is also the biggest mover on the entire slate.

The Warriors-Mavs total opened as high as 224.5 at the earliest books (though most released the number at 221.5 a bit later), but has fallen down to 217, and some shops have dropped even further to 216.5.

That movement hasn't come as a result of the under's overall popularity, as 58% of tickets on the total have hit the over. Among sharps, though, the under has been plenty popular, in part revealed by the 92% of money it has attracted (since sharps are more likely to be the ones betting large dollar amounts).

Confirming the professional activity, Sports Insights' Bet Signals — triggered by market-wide line movement as a result of sharp action — have recorded two instances of smart money hitting the under at lines of 221.5 and 219.5.

Charlotte Hornets vs. Brooklyn Nets

7:30 p.m. ET | YES

One bet wasn't enough for sharps in this matchup. Both the spread and total have seen eerily similar betting activity, and oddsmakers have expectedly responded in similar ways.

Forty percent of spread tickets have hit Charlotte, yet the Hornets have fallen from an opener of +4.5 down to +4, and 39% percent of bets on the total have landed on the under, with that number dropping from 221.5 to 219.5.

Both Hornets and under backers have also accounted for nearly the same percentage of actual money — 49% and 51%, respectively — and both have triggered two SI Bet Signals.

Professional action was recorded at +4.5 and +4 on the Hornets, and at 221.5 and 221 on the under.

Orlando Magic vs. Toronto Raptors

7:30 p.m. ET | FS-FL

The 9-4 defending champions being listed as short favorites over the visiting 6-7 Magic has given public bettors an easy decision tonight. The Raptors are driving 81% of spread tickets, making them the most popular play on the slate, yet once again, sharp bettors have convinced oddsmakers to move away from the public side.

Four SI Bet Signals — three at +4.5, one at +4 — on the Magic to just one on the Raps have driven this line all the way down to three points.
