Kevin Durant Over 25.5 Points
Rockets vs Thunder, 7:30 p.m. ET
By Joe Dellera
Kevin Durant makes his Rockets' debut in a tough matchup against the reigning NBA Champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night.
Durant will provide a championship pedigree and a clear go-to scoring threat that the Rockets did not have before.
Durant is a lethal scorer, and without Fred VanVleet, he will be leaned on more than originally anticipated for finishing off possessions and spacing the floor.
KD averaged 26.6 points per game last season and scored 28, 20, and 26 against the Thunder — here in Houston, there is an even greater need for his scoring ability than with the Suns.
His usage should be sky high when he is on the floor and I expect him to make a splash in his debut.
Pick: Kevin Durant Over 25.5 Points (+100)

Alperen Sengun Over 33.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Rockets vs Thunder, 7:30 p.m. ET

I think Alperen Sengun is going to be the best player on this Rockets' team this season.
Sengun is a very good way to counter the ball pressure.
The Rockets can just pass the ball off to Sengun, who the Thunder can't really pressure because Isaiah Hartenstein and Chet Holmgren are not going to be like swarming him.
Sengun should have plenty of opportunities in the short roll when the Thunder blitz. He's really good versus switches.
Pick: Alperen Sengun Over 33.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110)

Kevin Durant Under 5.5 Rebounds
Rockets vs Thunder, 7:30 p.m. ET

When thinking about how much size is going to be on the court in this game, I think we'll see both teams go double-big.
Kevin Durant, who refuses to admit is a seven-footer, is basically going to be the two guard. So, I don't expect him to be near the basket all that much.
Durant played 37 minutes per game last season. I'm projecting him around 33 minutes for the Rockets in this spot.
Five seasons ago, he averaged 7.4 rebounds per game. However, since then, we've seen that number tick down to 6.7, 6.4, and then up a tiny bit to 6.6.
But last year, his average of 6.0 was the lowest he's posted since his rookie season. I've got KD projected for 4.78 rebounds on Tuesday night.
Pick: Kevin Durant Under 5.5 Rebounds (-115)
