Oklahoma State vs Oregon College Football Betting Preview

Oklahoma State Cowboys Betting Preview: Provoking a Giant
In an unexpected twist, Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy just may have put a target on his team’s back.
Every Monday during the season, Gundy speaks on a radio show to not just recap the previous week, but to preview the upcoming game.
And did Gundy have some things to say about his opponent.
“Oregon is paying a lot, a lot of money for their team," he said. "From a nonconference standpoint, there's coaches saying they should [play teams with similar budgets]."
It’s a bold statement from a coach of a team that struggled against UT Martin.
Don’t get it twisted — the score may have been 27-7, but after an Oklahoma State-leading 14-7 first quarter, the next touchdown came in the fourth quarter.
The Pokes’ starting quarterback, Hauss Hejny, went down early with a broken foot, forcing backup Zane Flores to step in relief, which probably can answer for the dry spell.
Flores is a true freshman who, even though he held onto the win, was hardly impressive against an underwhelming UT Martin squad.
He threw for 136 yards with a 65% completion rate but neglected to throw a passing touchdown and got sacked twice.
Not only that, outside of Hejny, the rushing game was below average. Kalib Hicks registered 21 carries and rushed for only 56 yards — good enough for a porous 2.7 yards per carry.

Oregon Ducks Betting Preview: Building on Week 1's Victory
All you need to do is see a Dan Lanning pregame speech to know that what Gundy said is bulletin board material.
Lanning took the high road and responded to the directed comments, saying:
"If you want to be a top-10 team in college football, you better be invested in winning. We spend to win. Some people save to have an excuse for why they don't. … I can't speak on their situation; I have no idea what they got in their pockets over there."
Oregon will look to build on its Week 1 win against Montana State, where it came out on top, 59-13.
It was a nearly perfect outing from the former five-star quarterback Dante Moore, who completed 18 of the 23 passes he attempted for three touchdowns to Malik Benson, Gary Bryant Jr. and Kenyon Sadiq.
To top it all off, the top recruit from the 2025 freshman class, Dakorien Moore had a brief but solid start to his college career, hauling in three targets for 26 yards.
Against an opponent like Montana State, there shouldn’t have been a surprise that the run game thrived.
It was a community drive from the running back room where Noah Whittington got most of the carries, averaging 6.8 YPC, while Dierre Hill Jr., and Jordon Davison sharing the bulk of the secondary carries.
Davison was a monster on the goal line, though. On six carries, he rushed for 26 yards, but made up for three of the four rushing touchdowns Oregon had.

Oklahoma State vs Oregon Pick, Betting Analysis
This could get very ugly.
The spread is currently listed at a massive 28.5, but with the injury to Oklahoma State's Hejny, and seeing how abhorrent the run game was for the Pokes last week, I anticipate this being a blowout.
If OSU can't generate a strong rushing attack against UT Martin, what makes you think it can do it against Oregon?
Last season, Montana State averaged 300 yards per game on the ground. Last week, the Bobcats ran the ball 27 times for only 46 yards.
It's no secret that Oregon is the superior team in every aspect, but with the comments that Gundy made, it's like he's punching a sleeping bear while covered in bacon grease.
Take the Ducks to cover and quack your way to the bank.
Pick: Oregon -28.5
