Betting on quarterback ineptitude is one of my NFL guilty pleasures. I especially like back-breaking interceptions that completely flip the momentum of the game.

That’s why I’m diving headfirst into the quarterback interception market to identify key spots each week to cash in on quarterback miscues.

Here are my two favorite NFL interception props for Week 18.

NFL Interception Props for Week 18

  • Chris Oladokun to Throw an Interception (+130; bet365)
  • Lamar Jackson to Throw an Interception (+130; FanDuel)

The Chiefs' season may be over and we won’t be able to bet on Patrick Mahomes interceptions until next season, so let’s take his temporary replacement in QB Chris Oladokun.

This will be Oladokun's third start and now that there’s some more game tape on him, I think he could be primed to get picked off vs the Raiders.

Oladokun's INT odds were -170 vs. the Broncos and -130 vs. the Titans; he was able to avoid throwing an INT in those games despite having a turnover-worthy play in each game.

The reason why we’re getting +130 instead of minus odds is he’s facing the Raiders, who rank second to last in total passes defended and won’t have DE Maxx Crosby.

I still think that is too much of an overreaction from sportsbooks to Oladokun not throwing an INT vs the Broncos.

Despite the Raiders' struggles, Oladokun should be priced closer to a coin flip as Las Vegas has eight interceptions on the season.

There’s something off right now with Ravens QB Lamar Jackson.

Even when he came back earlier this season from his first injury, his accuracy was shaky and his turnover-worthy-play rate went through the roof as a result

Last season, he only had 10 TWPs all season, which resulted in only five interceptions, but in eight games since he came back from injury this year, he has eight TWPs with five interceptions.

Add in that his mobility seems to be compromised — he's now coming back from a back injury — and it’s hard to feel optimistic about the Ravens' passing offense in Week 18.

The Steelers defense has forced 14 interceptions this season (tied for eighth) while ranking fourth in total passes defended.

Head coach Mike Tomlin has typically employed a ball-hawking defensive unit and has given fits to Jackson fits in his career.

Here’s the year-by-year breakdown for Lamar Jackson vs the Steelers during the regular season:

  • 2019: 3 INTs in 1 game
  • 2020: 2 INTs in 1 game
  • 2021: 1 INT in 1 game
  • 2022: Injured (no games against Steelers)
  • 2023: 1 INT in 1 game
  • 2024: 2 INTs in 2 games (INT in each game)
  • 2025: 1 INT in 1 game

Jackson has played the Steelers seven times during the regular season in his career and has thrown 10 interceptions with at least one in each game.

The only time he faced the Steelers and didn't throw an interception was when the Ravens hosted the Steelers last year in the playoffs.

At +125, I can’t ignore this trend for Jackson to throw a pick in Pittsburgh.
