Manchester United vs. Tottenham
By Daniel Jenkins
The pressure is on for Thomas Frank. He’s got a dire record at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with four points from five home games for them, compared to four wins from five games on the road.
Despite last week’s disappointing draw with Nottingham Forest, United arrive here still carrying the momentum of three consecutive wins before it. They have the third-most expected goals in the league, and are averaging 13.2 shots per game, the highest in the division.
United will have some joy, but Spurs will respond. Only two teams have conceded more expected goals than United. Both teams to score is short, but combining it with a United win or a draw gets a good price.
Pick: Both Teams to Score – Yes and United/Draw Double Chance
Fulham vs. Everton
By Daniel Jenkins
Everton hosts Fulham with a certain level of pressure on manager David Moyes. The early-season optimism has somewhat evaporated, having won just one Premier League match since August. Goals have been in short supply, and the recent 0-3 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur has taken the shine off their home record.
But this is the sort of game Moyes would target. Fulham have been just as inconsistent as the Toffees, but there is a much bigger difference between their home and away performances. Marco Silva’s side would be in 8th spot if only home results counted, and in the relegation zone if only away matches were considered.
Everton have more attacking options than their rivals, who are in awful form away from home. Jack Grealish leads the Premier League with four assists this season, and has created more chances than all but Bruno Fernandes.
The points are there for the Toffees.
Pick: Everton to Win
Arsenal vs. Sunderland
By Daniel Jenkins
Arsenal travel north to face newly-promoted Sunderland in what has become a surprise top-four clash. Both of these teams’ success this campaign has been built on a solid backline. Arsenal have kept seven clean sheets to Sunderland’s seven, and conceded three to Sunderland’s eight.
The Gunners have won each of their last eight matches without conceding a goal — the first English top-flight team to do it for over 100 years — and have now won 10 consecutive games for the first time under Mikel Arteta. The club record is 14, and it’s hard to bet against them continuing this streak.
However, that clean sheet streak has to end at some point. It’s not the time to back "yes" on both teams to score, but Sunderland won’t just roll over here. They’ll play with intensity in front of their home support and have the benefit of an extra day of rest.
We can keep the Arsenal win, but adding in under 3.5 goals gives us a boost to the odds and allows a 2-1 away victory.
Pick: Arsenal to Win and Under 3.5 Goals
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Chelsea
By Daniel Jenkins
Chelsea hosts strugglers Wolves, aiming to add to their woes. The Blues are the massive favourites for this one against the Premier League’s bottom side. It will be intriguing to see how Wolves’ decision to sack manager Vitor Pereira will affect their chances of survival.
It’s a big task at Molineux. Wolves have conceded the most goals, scored the fewest, and have just two points from a possible 30. Only two teams have earned fewer points from their opening 10 matches of a Premier League season. Both of them were Sheffield United sides – in 2020/21 and 2023/24.
So it’s no surprise to see Chelsea such heavy favourites. The Blues are on a decent run with four wins from five in the Premier League. Only Manchester City have outscored them in the league this season. The Blues are averaging 5.4 shots on target per match, which is a league high.
