Achraf Hakimi Goal or Assist (+390)

Achraf Hakimi already has a goal and two assists, but will be expected to make a bigger contribution in Morocco’s biggest game of the tournament. His experience playing for French side PSG will be vital in overcoming this opponent.

So far, Hakimi has played 480 minutes, accumulating 2.07 xG, the most of his team. However, with just a single goal scored, he has underperformed by 1.07. In the process, Hakimi took 13 shots, with four on target, also topping the charts for the Atlas Lions.

This market offers excellent value given Hakimi's attacking threat and creative passing ability. So far, Hakimi has attempted the second-most open-play passes in the Morocco squad, with 307 of his 342 attempts successful.

Although he's theoretically a defender, no player has made more passes in the final third than his 105 for the Morocco squad. With 90 of those passes successful, he boasts an 85.7% success rate.

Morocco beat Canada 3-0 in their last game, but the scoreline flattered the African side. They struggled to create quality chances, and they face a much tougher test now. That’s why we are backing Morocco to have eight shots or fewer.

Against Canada, Morocco had just five attempts and finished the game with an xG (expected goals) of 0.81. Mohamed Ouahbi’s side had 55% possession in that game, but still failed to generate scoring opportunities. Morocco should have far less of the ball against France, further limiting their chances to shoot.

Morocco did manage to have 10 shots (normal time) in their first game of the knockout stage against the Netherlands, but this rival is significantly stronger.

France have conceded an average of 6.6 shots per game at this World Cup, with this bet winning in four of their five matches. The exception was the 4-1 win over Norway, in which the opposition had just 10 shots.

France are the biggest favorites to win the 2026 World Cup, as the bookmakers give them a 36% chance. It would be shocking to see them eliminated in the quarterfinals by Morocco.

Les Bleus have been a real force in the tournament. They won all five matches, defeating Senegal, Iraq, Norway, Sweden and Paraguay. Didier Deschamps’ men scored a tournament-high 14 goals in five games from a 10.65 xG (Expected Goals), while they also have the second-best scorer in Kylian Mbappe with seven goals.

Defensively, only Spain (zero) and Colombia (one) conceded fewer goals than France (two). Morocco, on the other hand, allowed four goals from a 4.08 xGA (Expected Goals Allowed), while scoring 10 from an 8.32 xGF (Expected Goals For).

Four years ago, France and Morocco met in the semifinals, and Les Bleus celebrated a 2-0 victory. Expect a similar outcome here as well.
