Experience
Jeff is a contributor to the baseball betting and season-long fantasy sections of The Action Network, writing about adds/drops, injuries, and betting game previews. Jeff started in the industry as freelance fantasy baseball and hockey writer before adding DuPage (IL) county high school sports to his workload. His first full-time work in sports was with 120 Sports, now Stadium, as a production assistant. Jeff has most recently contributed his writing and editing skills to Expand The Boxscore, Fantasy Six Pack, 4for4, and FantasyLabs. Jeff was hired to TAN/FL by former TAN'er Matthew Freedman, who answers his phone the same way he starts podcasts.
Education
Jeff has a BA in Mass Communications from the University of St. Francis (IL) with an emphasis on journalism and public relations. He spent time in front of and behind the camera in college, as well as four years on the school's radio station and one semester as the Editor-in-Chief of the USF Encounter student newspaper. Jeff also has a paralegal certification from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
