The fourth and final round of the 2026 Charles Schwab Challenge gets underway on Sunday at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.

Eric Cole holds a one-stroke lead over the rest of the field at 12-under par after the third round. While there are some trailers within striking distance, Cole is likely to close this tournament out on Sunday.

Here is my pick and Charles Schwab Challenge Round 4 best bet.

Charles Schwab Challenge Round 4 Best Bet

Eric Cole Outright Winner (+240 at bet365)

Eric Cole was the hottest golfer in Saturday's third round, firing a 7-under 63 to propel himself into first place. At +240, he is worth backing to secure that elusive first career PGA Tour victory.

Mid-iron play is essential this week. The course is not particularly demanding in terms of distance, with nearly 50% of approach shots coming from the 125-175-yard range.

That distribution is well above the PGA Tour average.

This makes Cole a strong option to close out this tournament. One of the better mid-iron players on the PGA Tour, he ranks in the 84th percentile on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: approach from 100-150 yards and in the 72nd percentile from 150-200 yards.

Greens are difficult to hit at Colonial, making scrambling a key factor this week. That is the strongest part of Cole's game, as he ranks in the 97th percentile on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: around the green.

He used that elite short game to finish T6 in two of his past three tournaments, and Cole is now poised to finally break through for his first victory on the PGA Tour.
