The second round of the 2026 Masters gets underway on Friday at Augusta National in Georgia.

Rory McIlroy and Sam Burns co-lead the Masters after the opening round at five-under par. They hold a two-stroke lead over the rest of the field, but the tournament remains wide open with three days remaining.

Here are my picks for the Masters Round 2 best bets for Friday.

Masters Round 2 Odds, Best Bets

Si Woo Kim Top-40 (-142 at DraftKings)

Si Woo Kim is just one shot outside the top-40 after finishing Thursday T48 at 3-over par. This presents a buy-low opportunity on a player who profiles well for Augusta National under difficult conditions.

Greenside play is proving more important than ever, given the firmness of the course. It was already one of the most critical skill sets for success at Augusta National, and the current conditions only amplify its importance.

Last year, each of the top seven finishers ranked inside the top-20 in the field in strokes gained: around the green. No other strokes-gained category showed a similar trend.

That trend favors Kim as the sample size grows, given his strong greenside ability. Entering this week, he ranks in the 86th percentile on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: around the green.

He has used that strength to finish inside the top-40 in each of his past seven appearances at Augusta National, a trend that is unlikely to change this week.

Cameron Young Top-20 (-114 at DraftKings)

Another golfer worth targeting in the prop market is Cameron Young. After a difficult front nine (40), Young rebounded with a 3-under-par 33 on the back nine to climb to T33 at 1-over par.

He is just one shot outside the top-20 and could carry that late-round momentum into Friday.

Like Kim, Young brings strong greenside ability to Augusta National, ranking in the 74th percentile on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: around the green.

Success around the greens is often supported by strong mid-to-long-iron play. Last season, 19.6% of approach shots came from the 150-175-yard range, the highest distribution of any 25-yard grouping at this course.

Entering this week, Young ranks 22nd on the PGA Tour in birdie-or-better percentage from that distance.
