The third round of the 2026 Pebble Beach Pro-Am gets underway on Saturday in California.
Ryo Hisatsune & Akshay Bhatia co-lead the Pebble Beach Pro-Am after the first two rounds at 15-under par. They hold a one-stroke lead over the rest of the field, but the tournament remains wide open with two days remaining.
Here are my picks for Pebble Beach Pro-Am Round 3 best bets for Saturday.
Pebble Beach Pro-Am Round 3 Odds, Best Bets
Denny McCarthy Top 20 (+690 at DraftKings)
At +690, it is worth taking a shot on Denny McCarthy to climb into the top 20 over the final two rounds. He enters the weekend T44 at 5-under par, just four shots outside the top 20.
Working in McCarthy’s favor is that both remaining rounds will be played at Pebble Beach. He opened with a 68 at Pebble Beach before sliding down the leaderboard with a 71 at Spyglass Hill.
That split is not surprising given the course setup. Pebble Beach emphasizes wedge play and putting due to its shorter layout.
There were three measured rounds at this venue last season, as every golfer who made the cut also played Pebble Beach during the final two rounds of the tournament. Among those golfers, each of the top four finishers ranked 19th or better in the field in strokes gained: putting across those three rounds at Pebble Beach.
No other strokes-gained category showed a similar trend.
McCarthy is one of the best putters on the PGA Tour, ranking in the 97th percentile in strokes gained: putting. It is the strongest part of his game and helped him finish T12 here in 2022 and T4 in 2023.
Michael Kim Top 20 (+460 at DraftKings)
Another golfer worth targeting in this market is Michael Kim. He enters the weekend in slightly better position than McCarthy, sitting T34 at 6-under par.
Like McCarthy, Kim’s greatest strength is his putting. He ranks in the 92nd percentile on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: putting.
Kim is also a strong wedge player, ranking 17th on the PGA Tour this season in birdie-or-better percentage from inside 125 yards. Last year, 28% of approach shots at Pebble Beach came from that range, well above the PGA Tour average.
