The second round of the 2026 RBC Heritage gets underway on Friday at Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.

Ludvig Aberg leads the RBC Heritage after the opening round at eight-under par. He holds a one-stroke lead over the rest of the field, but the tournament remains wide open with three days remaining.

Here are my picks for the RBC Heritage Round 2 best bets for Friday.

RBC Heritage Round 2 Odds, Best Bets

Michael Kim Top-40 (-122 at DraftKings)

Michael Kim is already inside the top 40, entering Friday T27 at 1-under par. At -122, he is worth backing to maintain that position for the remainder of the tournament.

While putting is the strongest part of his game, Kim has also demonstrated solid ability around the greens. On the PGA Tour, he ranks in the 62nd percentile in strokes gained: around the green.

Kim has gained true strokes around the green in two of his past three tournaments, finishing inside the top 30 in each, including a runner-up finish at the Valero Texas Open.

Greenside play is arguably the most important factor at Harbour Town. Last year, each of the top six finishers ranked inside the top 21 in the field in strokes gained: around the green.

No other strokes-gained category showed a similar trend.

Max Homa Top-40 (-116 at DraftKings)

Another golfer worth targeting in this market is Max Homa. While 2026 has not been his best season, he has shown signs of improvement following a T9 finish at last week’s Masters.

He gained true strokes around the green in that event, marking the second consecutive tournament in which he has done so.

Success around the greens at Harbour Town Golf Links is often supported by strong long-iron play. Last season, 22.8% of approach shots came from the 175-200-yard range, the highest distribution of any 25-yard grouping at this course

Entering this week, Homa ranks above the PGA Tour average in birdie-or-better percentage from that distance.
