The third round of the 2026 Travelers Championship gets underway on Saturday at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, CT.
Scottie Scheffler holds a two-stroke lead over the rest of the field at 16-under par after the second round. While it will be tough for the competition to topple the world's best golfer this weekend, there are still other markets to bet on.
Here are my picks and Travelers Championship Round 3 best bets.
Travelers Championship Round 3 Best Bets
Si-Woo Kim Top-20 (-128 at DraftKings)
After a poor start to the tournament, Si Woo Kim roared back Friday with a six-under performance. He enters Saturday at T22, and at -128, he is worth backing to record his third top-20 finish over his past four tournaments.
With TPC River Highlands measuring under 6,900 yards, this event turns into a mid-iron and putting contest. Last season, 25.6% of approach shots came from the 150-175-yard range, which was six percentage points higher than any other 25-yard grouping.
This setup makes Kim a strong option this week. Kim is one of the best iron players in the world, gaining true strokes on approach in each of his past three tournaments.
Entering this week, he ranks in the 96th percentile in strokes gained: approach and in the 98th percentile in strokes gained: approach from 150-200 yards.
Eric Cole Top-10 (-146 at DraftKings)
Another golfer worth targeting in this market is Eric Cole. The first round leader following Thursday's opening round, Cole continued that success with a 65 on Friday to enter the weekend T3.
At -146, it's worth backing Cole to ride that momentum into Saturday.
Like Kim, Cole fits this course well.
Entering this week, he ranks in the 76th percentile on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: approach and in the 69th percentile in strokes gained: approach from 150-200 yards. Cole also enters this event in good form, having posted five top-20 finishes over his past seven tournaments.
As noted, the ease of hitting greens turns this week into a putting contest. Last year, each of the top eight finishers ranked inside the top 27 in the field in strokes gained: putting.
No other strokes-gained category showed a similar trend.
Cole is one of the best short game golfers in the world, ranking in the 98th percentile on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: putting. He performs well across all key putting ranges (2-5 feet, 5-30 feet and 30-plus feet), ranking in the 94th percentile or higher in each.
