NBA Injury News & Starting Lineups (November 24): Anthony Davis Out vs. Pacers Wednesday

NBA Injury News

6:30 p.m. ET Update: Anthony Davis has been ruled out. LeBron James has been cleared to play Wednesday. Josh Richardson and Robert Williams have been ruled out due to non-Covid illnesses.

5 p.m. ET Update: LeBron James was listed as questionable due to his lingering abdominal injury, but that is likely a formality. Anthony Davis is still questionable with flu-like symptoms.

The Chicago Bulls have been upgraded Alex Caruso, Javonte Green and Nikola Vucevic to active for tonight's game against the Houston Rockets. Vucevic will play his first game in two weeks.

With 26 teams playing on the evening before Thanksgiving, there's a lot to keep in mind on the injury front.

The Los Angeles Lakers will play the second game of a back-to-back against the Indiana Pacers Wednesday and should have LeBron James back in the lineup after his one-game suspension. Anthony Davis is also worth monitoring ahead of this game. Davis was questionable to play Tuesday due to a non-Covid illness and this could be a potential spot for him to rest.

The Philadelphia 76ers have listed Seth Curry (Back), Danny Green (Hamstring) and Tobias Harris (Hip) as questionable ahead of their game against the Golden State Warriors. All three players missed the Sixers' last game against the Sacramento Kings Monday and Green has been sidelined for straight with a tight hamstring.

Joel Embiid is progressing as he works his way back from Covid, but he's still being ruled out for this matchup. On the other side, the Warriors will be without Andre Iguodala for the third game in a row as he deals with a sore knee.

The Chicago Bulls have listed Nicola Vucevic and Alex Caruso as questionable for their game against the Houston Rockets. Vucevic hasn't played in two weeks since he tested positive for Covid and is still ramping up his conditioning. Caruso sat out Monday with a sprain wrist, but could see the floor tonight.

Jaylen Brown is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. Brown returned to the court after missing the previous eight games with a hamstring injury.

OG Anunoby, who has missed the past three game with a hip injury, is listed as questionable against the Memphis Grizzlies. On the other side of that matchup, Dillon Brooks is questionable with a hamstring injury. Brooks missed the first 10 games of the season with a hand injury and has missed the past two with the hamstring.
