NBA Injury News & Starting Lineups (December 3): Karl-Anthony Towns, Tobias Harris Out Friday

NBA Injury News

7 p.m. ET Update: Karl-Anthony Towns will sit out Friday night. Kristaps Porzingis has officially been ruled out for the Mavericks and Josh Hart will sit out for the Pelicans.

Domantas Sabonis has been downgraded to questionable Friday.

6 p.m. ET Update: Kristaps Porzingis was downgraded to doubtful ahead of a game against the New Orleans Pelicans due to a left knee contusion. Anthony Davis was upgraded to probable ahead of a game against the Los Angeles Clippers with a sprained left thumb.

Tobias Harris has been ruled out for the Philadelphia 76ers Friday with a non-COVID illness.

The Los Angeles Lakers expect to have LeBron James back on the floor after he cleared the league's health and safety protocol. James sat out against the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday, but it was due to a false positive test. Anthony Davis is questionable to play Friday against the L.A. Clippers with a thumb injury.

Karl-Anthony Towns is questionable to play against the Brooklyn Nets with a tail bone injury. Towns took a hard fall in the Minnesota Timberwolves' last game, but reportedly has gone through the morning shootaround.

Tobias Harris missed shootaround for the Philadelphia 76ers with a non-Covid related illness and his status for tonight's game against the Atlanta Hawks is unknown. Harris recently returned from a bout with Covid that sideline him for six games at the beginning of the month.

Christian Wood, who left the Houston Rockets' most recent game with an ankle sprain, is probable to play on Friday night.
