Bucks vs. Knicks
By Joe Dellera
The Knicks face off against the Milwaukee Bucks with a chance to win their NBA Cup Group and advance to the knockout rounds.
I’m targeting Jalen Brunson in this spot.
Brunson absolutely cooks the Bucks. He scored 36 points against them earlier this season and has averaged 35.1 points per game against them over the past few seasons. In fact, he's gone for 30 or more points in six of his past eight games against Milwaukee.
Given the matchup and the stakes, I expect Brunson to take control of this game.
Pick: Jalen Brunson Over 29.5 Points (-125)
Cavaliers vs. Hawks
By Bet Labs
The Cavaliers will try to get their third win in the NBA Cup group stage against the Hawks in Atlanta. Our Bet Labs system picks them as a great option to cover the spread tonight.
This system identifies NBA teams that have struggled against the spread, but are poised for short-term correction after another poor showing.
When a team has been consistently failing to cover and comes off another game where they fell short of expectations, the betting market tends to overadjust, shading lines too heavily against them.
Pick: Cavaliers -6 (-110)
76ers vs. Nets
By Kyle Murray
This could get ugly for the Brooklyn Nets, who have actually been surprisingly good against the spread as they have a 10-7 record ATS, despite being 3-14 on the year.
Tonight, they will miss Michael Porter Jr., who has easily been their best player this season. He will be joining Cam Thomas on the sidelines after being ruled out with an injury (low back tightness).
The 76ers will be without Joel Embiid, Kelly Oubre, V.J. Edgecombe, and potentially Paul George. However, even with those injuries, the players they have remaining are significantly better than the Nets in this one.
Pick: 76ers -7.5 (-110)
Kings vs. Jazz
By Bet Labs
The Kings will visit the Jazz tonight and are looking for their first win in the NBA Cup group stage. The last time Sacramento went on the road, the team managed to beat the Nuggets in Denver, and our Bet Labs system finds value in backing them tonight on the spread despite them losing their past two games at home.
The Visitor Recent 'Dogs Losing Streak system focuses on NBA regular-season matchups where struggling road underdogs offer hidden value.
Teams on short losing streaks, both straight up and against the spread, often become undervalued in the market, as public sentiment turns sharply against them.
These spots tend to produce inflated lines that fail to reflect the small margins separating most NBA teams, especially when the visiting side has already been in the role of an underdog for consecutive games.
Such teams frequently respond with higher energy and focus after a string of poor performances, particularly when traveling, where distractions are limited, and motivation is heightened to end a skid.
This system capitalizes on market overreaction to recent losses, finding edges where perception diverges from reality, and resilient road teams quietly bounce back to outperform expectations.
Pick: Kings +2 (-110)
Spurs vs. Nuggets
By Action PRO
PRO projects Nuggets center Jonas Valanciunas with 9.93 points today, which represents an excellent 24.1% edge against the market when compared to his 7.5 line.
Valanciunas has gone over this total in seven out of 12 games this month, scoring six points in four of the other five contests.
In this matchup against the Spurs, when he gives Nikola Jokic a rest, Valanciunas won't have to face Victor Wembanyama, who remains sidelined with a calf injury.
Playing in front of their crowd in Denver's altitude, the Nuggets could run away with an early margin that gives Valanciunas more minutes at the end of the game.
Back him to go over this 7.5-point line tonight.
