The New York Knicks did it again. The San Antonio Spurs are down 1-0 in the 2026 NBA Finals after blowing a first-half lead in Game 1 and will try to even up the score in Game 2 on Friday.
Victor Wembanyama had a poor shooting night in his first-ever game on the biggest stage, while Jalen Brunson willed his team to a win through injury. Whether that will change in the second matchup remains to be seen.
We focused on key scorers in our first prop breakdown of this year's finals, but we'll pivot to focus on Josh Hart and De'Aaron Fox this time around. Continue below for our NBA player props for Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Friday, June 5.
NBA Player Props for Knicks vs Spurs Game 2
- Josh Hart Under 10.5 Points (-102)
- De'Aaron Fox Over 5.5 Assists (-144)

Josh Hart Under 10.5 Points
Hart was one of the Knicks' most impactful players in Game 1, but he didn't make waves on offense.
New York's crash test dummy racked up rebounds and steals to lead the team in plus-minus (+22) in Game 1. He'll play a similar role in Game 2.
The Villanova product has surprised people with his shooting from time to time this postseason, but that won't be his role on this stage against such a sturdy defensive team. He'll be focused on forcing turnovers and creating second-chance opportunities.
Hart was 1-for-5 from the field in Game 1. While he has been extremely efficient this year, he's repeatedly fallen short of double-digit points when his shot volume is low.
Hart has scored less than 10 points in six of the seven games in which he's attempted fewer than 10 shots in this postseason. He also scored 10 points on 4-of-14 shooting in his lone regular-season matchup with San Antonio.
Hart can be a capable offensive weapon, but this series won't require him to take control on offense. It'll be hard to do if he commits three early fouls, as he did in Game 1, since this looks like it will be a physical series. An enforcer like Hart can't help but get caught up in that.
Pick: Josh Hart Under 10.5 Points (-102, FanDuel)
De'Aaron Fox Over 6.5 Assists
Fox had a game he'd love to forget his last time out.
The Spurs point guard scored seven points on 3-of-13 shooting and fell short of 10 points for the third time in four games this postseason.
His point totals might not be very enticing, but his playmaking can definitely bounce back.
The Spurs shot an abysmal 36.0% from the field against the playoffs' top-scoring defense. Bettors shouldn't expect those struggles to continue, though.
San Antonio is shooting 46.3% from the field as a team this postseason. That's not too far off from the 45.8% mark it notched through two matchups with New York during the regular season.
Fox has dished out 100 dimes this postseason, and 40.0% of those have gone to Wembanyama and Julian Champagnie. That duo combined for 42 points on a down shooting night in Game 1, in which Fox notched five assists.
Fox can comfortably get back to six assists or more if Wemby avoids shooting 28.6% from the field in a second consecutive outing.
