Celtics vs. Wizards
By Kyle Murray
Minott has been on a bit of a roller coaster in terms of his minutes this season, but he could be in line to pick up a few extra tonight, as Jaylen Brown is set to miss this game.
Minott will also benefit from an elite matchup, as he gets a date against a soft Wizards' defense.
I have him projected for 10.3 points alone, while also adding nearly 6 rebounds in tonight's game.
Pick: Josh Minott Over 11.5 Points & Rebounds (-125)
Warriors vs. 76ers
Joel Embiid is doubtful tonight, but Philly still has plenty of options in the frontcourt.
Andre Drummond, who has been dealing with a knee issue, is off the injury report.
Drummond got up to 17 minutes last game after a couple of abbreviated appearances. He was regularly playing 30+ minutes without Embiid before the knee problems.
Jabari Walker popped up for a season-high 24 minutes last time out against Washington.
Dominick Barlow can slide to center in smaller lineups, and Justin Edwards could pick up power forward minutes if he's playing well.
There are a ton of routes Philly could go, and the lineup could definitely trend small for them given that the Warriors often go without a traditional center.
Bona has a very light 8.3% usage rate. He's averaged 3.9 rebounds on 10 rebound chances.
Even without Embiid, there isn't much playing-time upside.
Pick: Adem Bona Under 9.5 Points & Rebounds (-105)
Timberwolves vs. Pelicans
By Joe Dellera
Anthony Edwards gets another matchup with the lowly Pelicans tonight. So, let’s ride the hot hand.
It was an overtime game, but Edwards just made six three-pointers on 13 attempts against New Orleans, and this is building on a further hot streak of clearing this mark in six straight games.
Ant is a streaky shooter, but the Pelicans simply allow a monstrous amount of three-pointers.
The Pelicans allow the highest frequency of above the break three-pointers in the league, which is a shot Edwards loves to take.
Both of these teams play at a moderate pace, and I expect Ant to continue to launch from beyond the arc.
