76ers vs Celtics Player Prop
The Boston Celtics opened up their postseason with a blowout win over the Philadelphia 76ers and are heavily favored ahead of Game 2 on Tuesday.
Jayson Tatum's return to the rotation has worked wonders for the team's offense. That means some role players won't be asked to do quite as much.
Derrick White is averaging a career-high 16.5 points per game, but his shooting percentages are abysmal. He's shooting under 40.0% from the field (39.4%) and making 32.7% of his attempts from long range.
He can dial back his scoring involvement with Tatum and Jaylen Brown running the show.
White has averaged 10.3 points on 7.7 field-goal attempts per game in April after averaging 14.4 shots per game during the regular season.
His current shot volume and the blowout potential of this game make his 3-point prop interesting.
Pick: Derrick White Under 2.5 3-Pointers (-117)
Trail Blazers vs Spurs Player Prop
The Portland Trail Blazers are leaning into depending on Deni Avdija for a large chunk of their offense, and he'll have to show up in a big way to prevent his team from going down 0-2 in its first-round series with the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday.
Avdija averaged a career-high 24.2 points and blossomed into an All-Star during the 2025-26 regular season. He hasn't slowed down since.
The Trail Blazers wing has now scored at least 26 points in eight consecutive contests while shooting 56.4% from the field on 19.5 shots per contest. Plus, four of those matchups came against top-10 scoring defenses.
The Spurs are at their best defensively when Victor Wembanyama is available, but Avdija averaged 31.7 points per game against them without him in three regular-season meetings.
San Antonio hasn't shown that it can slow him down yet, and there's no reason for Portland to shy away from a player scoring so efficiently.
Pick: Deni Avdija Over 23.5 Points (-122)
Rockets vs Lakers Player Prop
The Los Angeles Lakers knocked off the Kevin Durant-less Houston Rockets in Game 1 last week, and LeBron James' playmaking had a lot to do with that.
The 41-year-old superstar dished out 13 dimes his last time out, reaching double digits for the fourth time in five games. He's had to take a more hands-on approach with Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves out of commission.
Houston boasts one of the league's better scoring defenses, but James averaged 10.3 assists per game without Doncic during the regular season and can still elevate his game in the postseason.
Bettors should count on him to set the table for his teammates at a high level as the Lakers' primary initiator.
Pick: LeBron James Over 8.5 Assists (-134)
